The European Heart Journal is proud to be among the 3 top journals in cardiovascular medicine with currently 3’800 manuscripts per year, an accetance rate of 8-10% and ab impact factor of 14.1. Thanks to this success, the journal is able to publish important research, review articles as well as guidelines relevant for clinical practice. In “The Year in Cardiology” session, the European Heart Journal wants to review the most important publications and provide the take-home messages of all the discoveries in different areas of cardiology made during the last year.

We are pleased to have most distinguished speakers who are all editors of the European Heart Journal to cover different areas of cardiovascular medicine. Paolo G. Camici form Milan will review cardiac imaging, Dr. Peter Ganz from San Francisco basic science and prevention, Filippo Crea from Milan will discuss coronary artery disease and acute coronary syndromes and Philippe H.
